I grew up in Northern California and have lived in various places across the US. Spokane has been my home for the past 15 years. I love the beauty of the Northwest, the changing seasons, the growth and renewal. Where we live has become such a metaphor for life - the seasonal transitions, the dramatic weather, the long dark winters and the golden summer light.

I spent the last 15 years photographing families and relationships. I fell in love with people’s faces and how much we say with our eyes or shoulders. We are so complex and there is always so much beneath the surface. A few years ago I became aware of the great need for more mental health services. I went back to school and received my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Gonzaga University. It is an honor for me each time I sit down with another person. I bring my relational lens and the belief that everyone is capable of hope and healing, growth and change.
